The
Wood Puzzle Series® is Danish design based upon an idea by the
Japanese profes-sor Mr. Nob Yoshigahara.
Mr. Nob Yoshigahara is world famous on his field. He has invented
numerous puzzles, |
|
|
has written more than 70 books, and is a great collector of puzzles,
with probably the biggest puzzle collection in Japan. He prefers
small and simple puzzles. "To puzzle is to play, it must be
fun!" Therefore, the greatest puzzles are quite simple, yet
very surprising, at the same time. |

The-T
puzzle is actually developed from a classic. A tea company in New
York originally used this brilliant game in 1903 to promote their
White Rose Ceylon Tea. At the time, it was made as a cardboard flyer,
and the challenge was simple and made a pun out of the words: "Make
the T(ea)". Only this one figure could be made. |

Later
on, the idea was used by Amour's in Chicago to promote sausages.
During the 1970s, Mr. Nob Yoshigahara evolved the idea to change
the proportions of the pieces in a way that would increase the number
of possible solutions. The result is
